This super gorgeous, bubbly actress Shruti Seth is jack of all trades. She began her career as a model, and then moved to VJ-ing on Channel [V] before starting acting and hosting shows. Shruti Seth was born on 18th December 1977 in Gujarat, India. She did her schooling in Ashok Academy and graduated from St. Xaviers College in Economics and Commerce.
She started her career as the Guest Relation Executive in Taj Hotel, and then took little interest in modeling. Her Television career starts with hosting in few programmes and commercials. She was a VJ in Channel [V] and hosted `First day First show` and `Jungle Jukebox` shows.
Her debut serial was `Thriller At 10`. Soon after it she had offered`Desh Main Nikla Hoga Chand`. She also worked in other serials as Neena Gupta `Kyun Hota Hai Pyaar` `Mann`, Josh` and `Mum Tum Aur Hum`. She got house hold fame with her role as Jia in `Shararat- Thodi Jaadu Thodi Nazaakat`.
As a model, Shruti has done many commercials including Clean and Clear moisturizer, TATA Home Finance, Ponds Telc, Frooti, Lifebuoy Soap, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, LG, Airtel, Mrs. Marino Softener, Stayfree Secure, Dominos etc. Her first advertisement was Clean and Clear moisturizer.

Then she played supporting characters in movies like Fanaa (2006) where she played Kajol’s friend Fatty, Ta Ra Rum Pum (2007) as Sasha and Jhum Barabar Jhoom. She is probably best known for her role as Fatty in Fanaa. In the Oscar winner Slumdog Millionaire (2008), she played a call center trainer. Recently she came in the movie called Khallballi: Fun Unlimited.
She was the Casting Director of 2003 movie Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II where she acted also. Shruti loves traveling, watching movies, music, parties, shopping. If she didn’t become actress then she will try her luck in Interior designing.
